AMC Networks announced a major partnership and distribution agreement between Sentai Filmworks and Mainiche Broadcasting System (MBS.) This partnership grants exclusive rights for HIDIVE to stream part of MBS’s programming line-up outside of Asia. All shows will be simulcast exclusively on HIDIVE.
With this announcement, Sentai and MBS revealed that The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: From Villainess to Savior will be included in the line-up. More titles will be announced in the future.
MBS has been the network for anime like Attack on Titan, Fullmetal Alchemist, and Jujutsu Kaisen. They co-produced these series along with others, and also co-produced Akira.
This is a truly historic agreement for HIDIVE and is the culmination of our partnership with MBS. This output deal cements Sentai’s position as one of the world’s most established and leading suppliers of popular and high-quality anime content. But not only that, The Most Heretical Last Boss Queen: from Villainess to Savior and the other series will significantly elevate HIDIVE’s reputation with fans as not only the new go-to anime streaming platform but also as the pipeline to some of Japan’s most highly anticipated titles.
