4 More Ongoing BL Manhwa I’m Reading on Lezhin

collage cover of bl manhwa

One thing about Lezhin? They are consistently dropping new BL manhwa’s to read daily. Do I need more titles to add to my “currently reading” list? Absolutely not. Am I going to add new titles every week because I love having something to read? Abso-fucking-lutely. Let me see one of their animated ads or a random screenshot of a panel that looks interesting and I’m on Lezhin faster than an Olympian swimmer.

If you may remember, I dropped the first list of my ongoing BL manhwa I’m reading a few months back, and unfortunately for me, 3 of those titles are on hiatus, 1 has ended, and the last 1 is still ongoing (but the season may be over soon!) So of course, I added some new titles while I wait for them to come back.

Eden by HOCCO

7 episodes and counting, updates every Friday

I’ll be honest: I don’t know what hell is going on here. BUT I LOVE IT! Based on the synopsis, we know that Park Seonwu is an undercover agent working at a cafe when he meets Seo Yohan, a regular at the cafe. When investigating a lead, Seonwu is drugged and the only person who can help is Yohan. These two start an entanglement of sorts with their bodies and not much else.

We know from the synopsis that some time will pass and Yohan will allegedly die in an accident. Except, he may not be dead at all?! We haven’t gotten to that part of the story yet but I know it’s about to be wild.

Take Me Home by Team NamolLala

22 episodes and counting, updates every Tuesday

I only just started this series but based on the trailer and synopsis, I knew it had my type of shenanigans. Min-hyuk is a 25-year-old university student who happens to meet Sun-woo at his gym. When Sun-woo helps him find his airpod, he buys him dinner as a thank you. That somehow turned into Sun-woo asking Min-hyuk for a place to sleep. Min-hyuk invites him temporarily but judging by how things are going, maybe it’s forever.

I’m only two chapters in (because I just read this last night and needed to go to bed) but I am SOLD. I love stupid and cute mess. It seems like this will be one of those “He fell first, but he fell harder” types and that is what I love the most.

Sugar Trap by Hyun Jiha and art by Magoo

6 episodes and counting, updates every Monday

I know it sounds like I love every trope and that’s because I always almost do! And the second chance trope is no exception! Sugar Trap is about Joohwan, a closeted gay man whose world is turned upside down when he reunites with an old military sunbae, Sihyun. At first, it seems like they hate each other, but through flashbacks, we are slowly getting an idea that something may have happened between them in the past.

It’s still super early on, but I get the impression that Sihyun may have had feelings for Joohwan all along. I hope this is the case and that Sihyun is about to make Joohwan fall for him, bad. I am excited to see where this goes.

FlashLight by YANGMA

13 episodes and counting, updates every Monday

I’m not exactly sure what is happening in this story or how I got here, but I’m just going along with the ride. In FlashLight, Aaron Hunter is an A-list actor who suffers from insomnia. The only thing that helps is music from an unknown artist on a video platform. That unknown artist is Yujin, who isn’t interested in any type of fame. The two somehow agree to fake date after getting caught in a compromising position at an event.

There’s something underneath Aaron’s “I need your music” to sleep BS and so far, the story hints that they may have known each other when they were younger. They seem to hate each other right now, especially Yujin towards Aaron, so I’m waiting to see how the tides turn.

If you’re here, you’re most likely familiar with these types of stories and the tropes they contain. If you’re checking them out, please be sure to carefully check the tags and trigger warnings. We’re all adults here and we know that fiction is fiction, and enjoying things in fiction does not mean you support these things in real life.
