I truly believe we are living in the best of times because new anime movies are coming to the states so frequently! It has just been announced that the highly anticipated anime The Tunnel to Summer, the Exit of Goodbyes will be shown in US theaters on November 3.
The anime movie is based on a light novel and manga series by Mei Hachimoku and has already received critical acclaim. The movie was awarded the Paul Grimault Award at the 2023 Annecy International Animation Festival.
Those attending New York Comic Con next month can catch a special movie panel with the English voice cast and the premiere of the dub. The premiere and panel will take place on Thursday, October 12 at 7:30 pm Eastern in Room 405 of the Javits Center.
