The wait for information about THE BOY AND THE HERON is finally over! Today GKIDS has released an official teaser trailer for Hayao Miyazaki’s first new film in 10 years. The Studio Ghibli movie will be premiering in the US on December 8.
As you may recall, this movie premiered in Japan with zero marketing. No trailers, no still images, no synopsis – just a poster for the movie. So it’s pretty exciting to finally have some information about it. I personally won’t be watching the trailer or reading the synopsis just to have somewhat of a similar experience to the Japanese audience. However, I can’t close my eyes to the still images and they look so good. I am excited for this movie.
