NEWS: HIDIVE to Air “Whisper Me a Love Song” Anime Adaptation for Spring 2024

Love is in the air this Spring with all the romance anime adaptations! The AMC-owned anime streamer HIDIVE announced that they have acquired the anime Whisper Me a Love Song. The anime is adapted from the manga of the same name by Eku Takeshima. Fans will be able to attend the premiere of the anime at Anime Boston on March 29.

After performing a song at her school’s opening ceremony, musician Yori Asanagi receives an apparent love confession from freshman Himari Kino. But just as Yori decides she wants to return Himari’s feelings, Himari reveals that she did not “love” her, but “admires” her! But you can’t unring a bell once struck, and Yori is determined to make Himari fall for her, not just her music. Will their hearts ever beat as one, or will their love fall out of tune?

Official Synopsis

This girl’s love story is produced by Cloud Hearts and Yokohama Animation Laboratory (The Witch and the Beast). Whisper Me a Love Song is directed by Akira Mano (Ghost Hunt) and written by Hiroki Uchida (Requiem of the Rose King). The Japanese cast stars Hana Shimano as Himari Kino and Asami Seto (Jujutsu Kaisen) as Yori Asanagi.
