Day 5 of #MarchMangaMadness: BEASTARS by Paru Itagaki published by Viz.
When I first saw the BEASTARS anime in 2020, I was obsessed. The story was so unique and weird to me, it really drew me in. 2020 was also when I finally was in a position to start collecting manga, so I started buying BEASTARS along with filling in my CLAMP stuff.
I have since fallen off BEASTARS and have not watched the second season even though it came out in 2021. I will eventually return to it because I did initially enjoy it so much. And as you know, once BEASTARS is over, I’ll read the manga. The manga is finally complete, too, so I’ll hurry up and get the rest of the volumes eventually.
Although I haven’t read these, I love having them in my collection because they are the taller print manga. I love that publishers have started doing this because it makes it so much easier for me to hold and read. No shade to the traditional size, but these bigger sizes need to be the standard.
