I had so much fun yesterday at Anime NYC meeting all of my faves 😍 this Black and POC anime community has truly changed my life and I’m so blessed to have met so many wonderful individuals 😭 unfortunately I didn’t get a picture with everyone but that’s what the next con is for. I hope next year the con is more organized and I’ll be able to be there the entire weekend!
I’ll be honest with y’all: I saw Run with the Wind and I’m obsessed with it. Who knew the story of 10 college kids trying to do one of the biggest relay races in Japan would have me in absolute shambles but it did. From the storytelling, to the art, and let’s not even start on the soundtrack, Run with the Wind is a masterpiece. I fell in love with everyone’s reason for wanting to complete the Hakone Ekiden and never cheer for fictional characters more. I felt sooo seen in Prince and truly marveled over Kakeru’s growth. I shed so many tears of pain and joy with this anime and can guarantee I’ll be rewatching it for years to come.

October 👻 started Haikyuu and it has become part of my personality. Became even more obsessed with myself. Hung out with my fave some and then got to witness the engagement of my favorite people 😍 time please slow down.
Who says you can't have your cake and eat it too? 🎂😉 Today makes 6 years I've been a content creator. While what I do under the umbrella of "creator'" has changed a lot, the one thing that remains constant is my passion of creating and storytelling. I'm so proud of the direction the brand has been moving in and every year, I feel closer to my purpose than before. This new year has included so many new and amazing opportunities, and I know there are more to come. Thank you so much to everyone who has always supported me.
September was a blur of good hair days, traveling, and hanging out with my favorite people. I got bangs and blonder lol A lot of my wins took place offline. I got approved as press for two big cons 😭, I’ve been added to a reviewer list for one of my favorite manga publishers, and have been steady grinding with the brand. Don’t forget to stop and list your wins, no matter how small they seem to you! Progress is still progress.
