When it comes to anime, Netflix has made sure to become a hub for new titles. With Netflix exclusives like Blue Period and My Happy Marriage, the streamer is becoming a place to find new anime along with familiar titles. At last week’s Netflix Geeked Week, Netflix announced a bunch of new animations that will hit the platform in the future. Here are some of the anime coming soon!
Devil May Cry
From Capcom, led by Adi Shankar, and animated by Studio Mir comes Devil May Cry – a Netflix animated series based on the hit video game IP. Premiering April 2025.
SAKAMOTO DAYS
Follow the action-packed story of legendary ex-hitman Taro Sakamoto, as he bands with comrades to face off against the looming threat of assassins to ensure a peaceful life with his beloved family. Get ready for non-stop assassin action as chaos ensues in the ordinary (and not-so-ordinary) life of Sakamoto and his comrades! On Netflix January 2025.
Gundam: Requiem for Vengeance
In the year 0079 of the Universal Century, the Principality of Zeon declares independence from the Earth Federation, plunging the two nations into war. Thanks to a revolutionary new weapon known as a Mobile Suit, the Zeon Force initially gains the upper hand. However, they lacked the power to take control of the entire Earth, bringing the war to a stalemate.
Eleven months into the war, the Earth Federation forces manage to seize a Zeon-controlled base located in Eastern Europe. Among the mixed battalion headed to reclaim this base is Sorari and the Red Wolves division, a Mobile Suit platoon that has just descended from space. On Netflix October 17, 2024.
