Exciting news for BLUE LOCK fans! The series’ first movie, BLUE LOCK THE MOVIE -EPISODE NAGI—will be available to stream on Crunchyroll on October 17 at 5 pm PT/ 8 pm ET. The film originally debuted in Japanese theaters on April 19, 2024.
BLUE LOCK THE MOVIE -EPISODE NAGI- is based on the spin-off manga of BLUE LOCK, which is told from Nagi’s perspective. The manga series is written by Muneyuki Kaneshiro and illustrated by Kota Sannomiya. The film is produced by 8bit (That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime) and directed by Shunsuke Ishikawa (NANBAKA).
“That’s a hassle.” That was second-year high schooler Nagi Seishiro’s favorite phrase as he lived his dull life. Until Mikage Reo, a classmate who dreamed of winning the World Cup, discovered Nagi’s hidden skill, inspiring him to play soccer and share his outstanding talent. One day, he receives an invitation to the mysterious BLUE LOCK Project. What awaits him there is an encounter with the finest strikers assembled from across the country.
