All Eyes on You – Jordan “Jay” Rodriguez

Last year, I created the “Who to Watch” list, which spotlighted 16 creatives or entrepreneurs from Reading, PA. In honor of the new list approaching, I followed up with the 2018 class to see what they’ve done since we started watching them.

How has your company/ brand/ you grown?

My brand and company has grown tremendously. I started on JAYSZN 2 coined “ICONIC” in which I pay homage to certain people in the industry who have influenced me when it comes to my wardrobe styling, fashion blogging, and hip hop blogging.

What did you accomplish this year?

Apart to getting JAYSZN 2: ICONIC off the floor, being named one of HOT97’s top fashion/hip hop bloggers; I also was given the opportunity to be a main cast member on this upcoming season of Love & Hip Hop: ATLANTA season 8, so stay tuned!

What is the biggest lesson you learned?

The biggest lesson I’ve learned this year has to be not taking anything for granted and always remaining a step ahead of myself regardless of any situation or opportunity thrown my way.

Has your “why” changed?

My why has not changed one bit! My family and my city will always be my why. If anything the vision for my “why” has just gotten bigger!

What’s next for 2019?

Accomplishing and conquering more goals. I’ve realized this past year that the sky isn’t the limit, it’s beyond that! I already have a couple of 2019 blessings I can’t really speak on but I can just pray I take them on as strongly and confidently as I did the previous year.
